- Allie has started to sit up. This developed last week. She has a lot more neck control and her balance has gotten a lot better.
- Allie started to eat solid food. This developed about a week and a half ago. She started eating rice cereal. She had some stomach troubles after eating rice cereal for a while, so my wife stopped feeding it to her for a while. We will start her on rice cereal again soon. Because, come on. She is half Asian. She HAS to like rice. I think its coded in our genes or something.
- Allie has started to roll over more often. This developed about three weeks ago. She rolled over from her stomach to her back a couple of times about 5 or 6 weeks ago, but then she stopped trying for a while. Then one night, we heard her cry in her crib, and we found that she rolled over from her back to her stomach. And she was crying because she couldn't roll over from her stomach to her back. Which is strange because they say that it is more common for babies to roll over from their stomach to her back since that is easier. Now she can roll over both directions.
- She is probably teething. Last month when we took her for her checkup on Nov 7, the doctor said that she is probably teething right now. My wife says that when a baby cuts their teeth can be genetically determined. Since my wife and I both cut our first tooth in six months, Allie will probably cut her first tooth in Jan.
